We Believe

1- Science has determined that homosexual feelings are not inborn.
The American Psychological Association stated,

Although much research has examined the possible genetic, hormonal, developmental, social, and cultural influences on sexual orientation, no findings have emerged that permit scientists to conclude that sexual orientation is determined by any particular factor or factors. Many think that nature and nurture both play complex roles; most people experience little or no sense of choice about their sexual orientation. 2 - Clinical observation reveals that people do not simply choose to have same-sex attractions (SSA).
Through our 21 years of counseling, and the clinical observations of other therapists, we have seen there are many similarities in the backgrounds of men and women who experience SSA. Click here for more details.

3 - We respect the client's right of self-determination.
Some experience unwanted SSA and seek to explore the possibility of change, while others embrace their homosexual feelings and live a gay life. We support the individual’s right to fulfill his/her goals and dreams.
